Louise and Stephen bathe Bob every day as part of their routine. In the mornings they give him his medication, feed him, bathe him, and change his bedding. After Louise leaves for work, Stephen exercises Bob's muscles, shaves his beard and cuts his hair as needed, and continues to administer his medications. Stephen, who is deeply religious, also sings Gospel songs to Bob throughout the day and prays with him.
